Choose a visual style

Let Auto pick a suitable look or choose a visible style preset when consistency with a format or brand direction matters.

Read before this

Read these direct prerequisites in order. Each guide lists any earlier context it assumes.

Auto or a preset

Auto lets ngram choose a style based on the topic, sources, video type, and prompt. Pick a named preset when you already know the visual language you want or need several videos to share a recognizable look.

Styles are not templates

A style controls the visual treatment. A Home template is a reusable creative starting point with its own layout and production pattern. A Brand Kit supplies approved brand assets and rules. These layers can work together, but they solve different problems.

Prompt the style well

  • Name the audience and use case before adding visual adjectives.
  • Describe what to avoid as clearly as what to include.
  • Attach a permitted visual reference when matching a look matters.
  • Use Brand Kit for logos, colors, typography, mascots, and bookends instead of repeating them in every prompt.

Current availability

The style catalog is dynamic and can differ from older screenshots. Use the previews and names shown in your Studio selector. Avoid relying on a fixed count in planning or documentation.

A safe first pass

  1. Open Home and add the prompt and approved sources.
  2. Choose the relevant creation setting and leave unrelated controls at their defaults.
  3. Review the mode, duration, aspect ratio, voice, models, and displayed credit estimate.
  4. Create a representative first version and verify the setting had the intended visible effect.

If the result is not available

If the named choice is missing or disabled, follow the plan message and the current options shown in Studio. Return to Home, reopen the source, or select a compatible video type; contact Support only when an expected eligible control remains unavailable.

Continue in ngram

Open the relevant Studio surface and follow the current controls shown in your account.
