Use this when the video's visual treatment is inconsistent
Use a visual style when the composition, pacing, imagery, or motion does not match the intended creative direction—or when several videos should share the same look. Use Brand Kit instead for exact logos, colors, fonts, terminology, and other approved identity rules.
Before you start
Sign in, prepare approved sources, and decide whether you want ngram to choose the look or need a named direction you can select again. A reference can guide a look, but you must have permission to use it.
Auto or a preset
Auto lets ngram choose a style based on the topic, sources, video type, and prompt. Pick a named preset when you already know the visual language you want or need several videos to share a recognizable look.
Browse a style before opening Studio
Open the video style template gallery to browse active video styles for product demos, how-to videos, screen recordings, and avatar videos. Each detail page includes a preview and related looks. Choose Reuse this style, sign in, and Studio opens with that exact style selected for the next draft.
Styles are not production templates
A video style controls visual treatment, composition, pacing, and motion. A production template is a reusable starting recipe for a particular video job and structure. A Brand Kit supplies approved brand assets and rules. These layers can work together, but they solve different problems.
Prompt the style well
- Name the audience and use case before adding visual adjectives.
- Describe what to avoid as clearly as what to include.
- Attach a permitted visual reference when matching a look matters.
- Use Brand Kit for logos, colors, typography, mascots, and bookends instead of repeating them in every prompt.
Current availability
The style catalog is dynamic and can differ from older screenshots. Use the previews and names shown in your Studio selector. Avoid relying on a fixed count in planning or documentation.
A safe first pass
- Open Home and add the prompt and approved sources.
- Choose the relevant creation setting and leave unrelated controls at their defaults.
- Review the mode, duration, aspect ratio, voice, models, and displayed credit estimate.
- Create a representative first version and verify the setting had the intended visible effect.
Expected result
The first complete preview should reflect the selected style across composition, imagery, pacing, and motion. Reusing the same named style gives later projects the same visual starting direction, but review each generated preview because the prompt, sources, and video type still affect the result. Use Brand Kit when approved identity assets and rules must carry across projects.
If the style is missing or the result does not match
Keep the current project. If the named choice is missing or disabled, follow the plan message and current options shown in Studio. If it was selected but the result missed the direction, restate the intended look and retry only the smallest affected scene once. Contact Support when an eligible style remains unavailable, the selection does not persist, or the same scene ignores it again; include the project URL, style name, video type, and visible mismatch.
