Edit and export

Adjust music, voiceover, captions, and sound

Use the quick Edit video menu or the editor panels to control the audio and caption layers of a finished video.

Read before this

Read these direct prerequisites in order. Each guide lists any earlier context it assumes.

Open quick controls

  1. Open a finished agentic conversation.
  2. Select Edit video above the preview.
  3. Choose the caption option, change background music, or use the available audio switches.
  4. Open the full editor when the change needs track-level control.

Background music

Change the selected track or turn background music off. ngram can use a reusable music library; do not assume every soundtrack is uniquely generated for the project. Review the mix against narration before export.

Voiceover and sound effects

Availability depends on what the project contains. A disabled switch usually means the current video has no compatible generated layer or the control belongs in another editing surface. Use chat for a creative narration change and the editor for direct audio-layer work.

Captions

Turn captions on when the destination or audience benefits from silent viewing and accessibility. Check names, product terms, numbers, and line breaks after any narration change, then export a fresh version.

If the result is not available

If an edit control is missing or disabled, confirm project ownership, completion state, selected scene or layer, account plan, and desktop context. Reopen the exact project before retrying, and preserve a good version before changing a larger scope.

Before you finish

Before export, save the current project, replay the affected range and final CTA, and verify whether a public link needs to be updated. Keep independently created editor copies clearly named because they do not synchronize with the conversation.
