Give Claude the shipped changes. Use ngram to create a narrated update, review its plan and bring the finished video back to the conversation.
See what you can make
A customer update created through Claude from Linear’s October 8 release notes. The narration was shortened during plan review. The product screenshot comes from the release page, and the other workflow diagrams are labeled Illustration.
Prompt
Use the connected ngram tools to make a customer update video for Linear. Source: https://linear.app/changelog/2026-10-08-stacked-pull-requests Audience: Engineering leads reviewing stacked pull requests Shipped changes to cover: Stack navigation in Linear Diffs; grouped pull requests in Reviews; a merge preview for GitHub-native stacks. Customer next step: Read the October 8 release notes and try the stack navigation in Linear Diffs. Length: 45 seconds. Format: 16:9. Narration: English. Read the source before preparing the video. Keep the release date, availability and product names accurate. Explain the benefit of each selected change. Use actual supplied screenshots when showing the interface; use clearly illustrative graphics for concepts. Do not invent interface controls, roadmap commitments or customer results. Prepare the video and show me the selected settings before creating it. Ask ngram to stop for plan review. After I confirm the settings, create one video, retain its ID, and check that same video for progress. Bring back any plan or question that needs my answer. When it is ready, return the video and its ngram project link so I can review and refine it. Do not publish a social post. If the ngram connector is not connected, read https://www.ngram.com/markdown/docs/connect-ngram-to-claude.md?view=1 and help me connect ngram to Claude. Wait for me to complete sign-in and approve access, then resume this workflow.

Linear’s October eighth update brings stacked pull requests into Linear Diffs. Move through a stack and see review, CI and merge status at a glance. In Reviews, related pull requests share one collapsible row, with their issue and project context. For GitHub-native stacks, preview every affected pull request before merging the current one and those below it. See where a change sits, understand the work behind the stack, and check the scope of a merge. Read the October eighth release notes, then try stack navigation in Linear Diffs.
How it works
One source. A repeatable workflow.
Start with
Release notes and real product screenshots
Create in
Claude
Make
A narrated customer update
Give Claude the release source
Open a new Claude conversation with ngram enabled. Paste the workflow request and replace the sample release with your own. Attach real screenshots if customers need to see the changed interface.
Review the settings and plan
Ask Claude to prepare the video. Check the proposed settings and confirm creation when they fit. Review the plan when ngram returns it; correct feature names, availability and the customer next step before approving it.
Follow the same video to completion
Keep the conversation open and ask Claude for progress on the video it created. Answer any question it returns. Use that existing video rather than submitting the creation request again.
Play the update and check the source
Open the returned video and project link. Check the narration, on-screen labels and feature availability against the release notes. Ask for a specific correction in the same conversation when needed, then replay the result.
Watch the workflow
Create a Linear release update in Claude
Follow the request, plan revision and final handoff in Claude, then watch the finished video. Waiting time is removed.

The recording opens with the release source, audience and selected changes in a Claude request. Creation is confirmed with Product spotlight, 45 seconds, 16:9, English narration and plan review. The next excerpt shows a request to shorten the narration and keep conceptual diagrams labeled Illustration. The revised plan is approved in the same project. Claude follows the existing video through production. The final handoff shows the MP4 download and Open in ngram links. The complete result plays with this narration. Your starting point
Start with the prompt.
Bring the release source into Claude, create through ngram, and review the returned video in the same conversation.
Review. Then deliver.
Claude returns the completed video and a link to its ngram project. Play the video before sharing it.
While your video is being made
Ask Claude for the current video’s progress. If it returns a plan or question, answer it so work can continue.
Share a link
Open the returned ngram project, play the video and choose Share when you are ready to give customers a watch link. Review the visibility before publishing.
Download the video
Ask Claude to prepare an MP4 and choose an export option available to your ngram account. Download in the ngram project requires an eligible paid plan. Check the saved file before uploading or sending it.
If the workflow needs attention
Ask Claude to check the existing video and explain the reported failure. Keep the video ID and project link; avoid creating a duplicate while the original request is still active.
- Claude cannot read the release page
- Paste the relevant approved release text into the conversation and provide any supporting screenshots. Ask Claude to use that source for the existing request.
- The video describes a planned feature as shipped
- Quote the incorrect line and the corresponding release source. Ask for that claim to be corrected in the existing video, then check its narration and on-screen text.
- The video is ready but its file is still preparing
- Open the ngram project to review the preview. Ask Claude to check the same video again for the completed file.
Keep the workflow. Change the story.
- 01
Bring the next release into a new conversation
Replace the release source, selected changes and next step. Keep the format when it still suits the audience. Use new screenshots for anything that changed.
- 02
Keep the approved source with the video
Save the release URL alongside the ngram project. Reopen that project for a correction; start a fresh request for the next release.
