Turn a support answer into a troubleshooting video
Answer a recurring support question with a video that shows the symptom, checks and documented fix. Give customers an expected result and a useful next step if the issue remains.

Slack’s support guidance becomes a step-by-step explanation with blueprint diagrams.
Prompt
Create a 40-second troubleshooting video for Slack users who see other people cannot hear them in a huddle. Audience: people using Slack in Chrome. Use this support documentation: https://slack.com/help/articles/115003538426-Troubleshoot-audio-and-video-issues-in-Slack. Start by showing how to recognize the issue. Explain these checks in order: quit and reopen Chrome; if needed restart the device; select the intended microphone in Slack audio and video preferences and speak to check the input meter; check that audio is not muted. Show the documented resolution: in Chrome Settings, open Privacy and security, Site settings, then Microphone; check that Slack is not blocked and allow microphone access for the correct Slack workspace. Include this prerequisite or caution before the relevant action: save your work before restarting; grant microphone access only to your own trusted Slack workspace. Finish with the expected result and this escalation path if the issue remains: the microphone meter should respond and teammates should hear you; if the issue persists, contact your workplace IT team or Slack support. Use actual UI images or recordings from the supplied source when showing controls. If the source has no usable screenshot, explain the documented steps with labeled diagrams and text; do not invent or recreate product screens. Tone: calm and clear. Voiceover language: English.

Teammates can't hear you in a Slack huddle in Chrome, and your mic meter stays flat when you speak. First, quit and reopen Chrome. Still silent? Save your work, then restart your device. In Slack's audio and video preferences, select the right microphone and speak. The meter should move. Make sure your audio isn't muted. Then, in Chrome Settings, go to Privacy and security, Site settings, Microphone. Check Slack isn't blocked. Grant access only to your own trusted workspace by adding its URL to the Allow list. The meter should now respond, and teammates should hear you. If not, contact your workplace IT team or Slack support.
How it works
One source. A repeatable workflow.
Start with
Current support documentation
Create in
ngram
Make
Troubleshooting answer video
Prepare the documented resolution
Use the current support article and the exact symptom. Order the checks from the documented prerequisites to the fix. Supply real screenshots or recordings for any controls the viewer needs to find.
Open the starter in ngram
Choose Open in ngram to carry the starting prompt into your workspace. Sign in if prompted, replace the bracketed details with your own, and add source files. Review the brief and choose your settings before creating.
Create and review your video
Check your selected settings and the total estimate, then choose Create video. If a plan is offered, read it and use Request changes or Approve plan. ngram-flash starts production directly. Keep the same conversation while the video is being made.
Walk through the answer as a customer
Follow the steps against the current product. Verify that the video shows the right controls, places cautions before the relevant action and tells the customer how to recognize success. Play the full preview and use chat or Make changes for corrections.
Your starting point
Start with the prompt.
Open the starting prompt in ngram, add your source, then review and create your video.
Edit this if you like, or open it in ngram and add your source there. You’ll review the brief and settings before creating.
Review. Then deliver.
A playable video appears in the conversation. Play it and compare it with your source before choosing how to deliver it.
While your video is being made
Read the latest conversation message. Answer a question or approve a plan when asked; otherwise let the active generation finish. You can return to the conversation from Projects.
Share a link
Open Share to publish a public watch link on any plan. Choose an unlisted link on Basic or above when you want access by link without public discovery. Anyone with an unlisted link can watch; check the source is suitable for that audience.
Download the video
On a paid plan, choose Download for the MP4. Wait for Preparing download to finish when shown, then play the downloaded file before delivering it.
If the workflow needs attention
Reopen the same conversation and read the error. Preserve the project link, use an offered retry once for the failed step, and contact Support if it fails again.
- The source cannot be read
- Check the URL and permissions. Provide the relevant text or attach an authorized file in ngram, then ask for the missing source to be used in the same conversation.
- The result misses a fact or step
- Quote the source and identify the exact line or scene to correct. Request a targeted change in the same project, then replay the corrected section and its surrounding context.
- The shared version is out of date
- Open Share and choose Republish when offered. Open the watch link in another tab and verify that it shows the intended version.
Keep the workflow. Change the story.
- 01
Keep the answer current
Review the source when the product or support process changes. Revise the same video when the answer changes and check the shared version before linking it from another support response.
- 02
Keep the project and delivery link together
Save the project link with the source version and shared link. For a revision, reopen that project and ask for the change; for a new topic, return to this workflow and fill in a fresh brief.
