Clueso now creates from prompts, recordings, screenshots, slides and documents. Its agent plans the video, creates narration and visuals, and offers a direct editing timeline. Motion graphics and Clueprints extend the workflow beyond cleaning up a recorded walkthrough.
The same material can become a written step-by-step guide. For a customer education team, compare that paired deliverable: the accuracy of the video, the guide’s screenshots and the work needed when a step changes. Clueso’s current offering should not be evaluated as a recording-only product.
Its pricing table includes prompt creation, PPT/PDF input and MCP, but lists in-editor AI chat editing on Enterprise. Business adds reusable components, custom fonts and collaboration. The auto-update agent is an Enterprise paid add-on. Check those entitlements when evaluating a workflow advertised on the homepage.
Clueso MCP connects video creation and editing to AI clients. Access to MCP does not establish that every Enterprise editing or automation feature is included in a lower plan.
Tella: Record and shape a video for its audience
Tella combines screen/camera capture, transcript and timeline editing, layouts, zooms, captions and hosted sharing. It fits a recurring demo or explanation where the presenter’s delivery and the visual arrangement are part of the result.
Tella Agent is a beta conversational editing workflow. Its current product also documents API access and MCP. Auto Capture can record a product workflow but is explicitly closed beta. Evaluate general recording/editing separately from that access-limited automation.
Compare a real correction: shorten an explanation, change a layout, correct the caption and export the new cut. A video-plus-guide tool deserves a separate trial when people also need illustrated written steps and a maintained knowledge library.

For a founder demo, compare presenter layout, a shorter take and the audience’s next step. For customer documentation, compare the same video with a written guide that needs to stay accurate. Those jobs can justify different tools even when both make a watchable demo.
