SMT IV — I Can't Fix You (Chaos Route Edit) | made with ngram

About the video

This video was created by ngram to present a six-scene chaos route edit inspired by Shin Megami Tensei IV, built around the track "I Can't Fix You." The video moves through thematic chapters—Do It Yourself, Standstill, Same Person, I Can't Fix You, Purgatorium, and A World Shaped by the Strong—tracing an emotional arc that echoes the game's chaos-route storyline. Rendered in a 16:9 widescreen format using an HTML/CSS motion graphics style, the piece relies on animated typographic and graphic transitions rather than live-action or in-game footage, giving each named scene its own distinct visual beat while keeping a consistent stylistic thread running through the whole piece. ngram structured the edit around these six scenes, pacing the motion graphics to shift in tone from the quieter, introspective early titles toward the heavier, climactic feel of the final scene. The result is a stylized fan tribute video for viewers familiar with the game's chaos ending, showing how a themed narrative or music edit can be built entirely from motion graphics rather than traditional footage, with a clear scene-by-scene structure that mirrors the emotional progression of the source material.
