SMT III: Nocturne — "Liar" (anime edit) | made with ngram

About the video

This video was created by ngram to retell key moments from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne as a fan-style anime music video set to the song "Liar." Built with HTML/CSS motion graphics in a 16:9 widescreen format, the video moves through six titled scenes that trace the game's story arc: Conception, The Magatama, Who are you?, Matador, Angel, devil and a god, and Kagutsuchi. Each scene marks a distinct beat in the narrative, from the world's cataclysmic reset and the protagonist's transformation through the Magatama, to the recurring question of identity, confrontations with rival demon hunters, encounters with angelic and demonic forces, and the final motif of Kagutsuchi as the moon that governs the new world. Rather than live-action or 3D animation, the piece relies on stylized motion graphics rendered through HTML and CSS, giving it a clean, animated aesthetic suited to a music-synced recap. The result is a compact tribute edit that distills the tone, pacing, and major turning points of the game's story into a single six-scene sequence for fans familiar with the source material.
