Richmond Edison and Marching 110 Video | event recap video made with ngram

About the video

This event recap video was made with ngram to revisit a homecoming parade in athens, ohio where the richmond edison wildcats marched alongside ohio university's marching 110 band down court street. the video recreates the atmosphere of an early 2000s parade, highlighting the wildcats' black and white uniforms with their diagonal stripe design and the marching 110's hunter green uniforms with block "ohio" lettering. it captures the sound of brass instruments echoing off historic brick buildings and the crowds lining the streets during this notable convergence of high school and collegiate marching band tradition. the piece notes the marching 110's peak-era reputation, including national performances and macy's thanksgiving day parade appearances, framing the local parade as part of a broader legacy of musical excellence. through nostalgic narration, the video invites viewers, particularly ohio university alumni and jefferson county natives, to recall their own memories of the event, positioning the parade as a touchstone of small-town pride and community spirit. the result is a tribute-style recap intended to celebrate shared history and invite audience reflection rather than promote a product or service.
