Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker — "No Longer You" | made with ngram

About the video

This video was created by ngram to retell key story beats from Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker through a vertical, HTML/CSS-driven motion graphics style titled "No Longer You." The scenes move through the game's cast and mythology: young Yamato playing chess with Alcor, Dubhe looming over Tokyo, Polaris alongside the Septentriones, Miyako's awakening, and Alcor appearing both as a marionette and with his unsettling smile. The sequence continues with Yamato's confrontation with Canopus and a profile shot of him, Io shown beneath Arcturus with a quiet smile, and the bond between Hibiki and Daichi. It also depicts Joe's death, the pact Hibiki forms with Al Saiduq, a hopeful moment for Hibiki, the Void tearing as Daichi breaks, the formation of the mark, and the closing line that gives the piece its title. Built in a 9:16 vertical format, the video uses stylized motion graphics to carry the narrative through distinct scene transitions rather than traditional animation, giving each moment — from quiet character beats to pivotal story turns — its own visual emphasis. The result is a compact, scene-by-scene recap of the game's emotional arc, suited for viewing on mobile and short-form video platforms.
