About the video

This explainer video was made with ngram to introduce the citizens' bureau, the office within ghana's parliament dedicated to connecting lawmakers with the public. it explains how the bureau serves as the official link between parliament and civil society organizations, distributes parliamentary research and information to citizens, and creates platforms for direct engagement between representatives and the people they serve. the video is aimed at civil society members, concerned citizens, and anyone curious about how ghana's legislative process works, pointing them to the bureau's physical location at parliament house in accra. the central takeaway is that the citizens' bureau exists to make democracy more accessible and participatory, giving viewers a concrete starting point for getting involved with parliamentary engagement rather than leaving civic participation abstract.
