The story

From screenshots to a product story

Owelet shows independent creators what they keep after platform fees and expenses. That value is easy to describe in conversation, but harder to communicate quickly on a launch page or social feed.

  1. The old way

Before ngram, Owelet did not have a repeatable video workflow. Momo used Canva screenshots, and one After Effects attempt took two hours without producing a usable result. Freelancers quoted $500 to $800 for a 60-second video, which was difficult to justify for a solo founder preparing a launch.

  2. The switch

A Product Hunt launch made the product story urgent. Owelet needed a clear visual explanation without adding a long production cycle.

  3. What changed

Owelet moved from no product video workflow to shipping its own explainers. Momo can now get a first draft in about 15 minutes, edit the exact message scene by scene, and keep video production moving without outsourcing this launch video.

How they use ngram

A typical project, start to finish

Step 01

Start with the product

Momo starts with Owelet's URL or a short product brief.

Step 02

Review the storyboard

Check the proposed scenes, then tune the script one scene at a time so the explanation stays true to the product.

Step 03

Apply the brand and export

Use Owelet's brand kit, finish the edit, and export a 16:9 version, with 9:16 versions planned for social.

The outcomes

A first draft in about 15 minutes

The initial video took shape in roughly 15 minutes instead of turning into another open-ended editing session.

$800 reported saving

Momo reported saving $800 compared with outsourcing the launch video.

A repeatable weekly workflow

Owelet now has a practical route from product brief to explainer as Momo prepares for Product Hunt.

I can finally show people what Owelet does instead of just describing it.
