# Research your sources for a video Source: https://www.ngram.com/docs/deep-research Published: 2026-08-06T00:00:00Z Updated: 2026-10-19T00:00:00Z Give ngram the source pages, documents and visual details your video should explain, then check the plan against those sources. Create a video Provide the documents, pages and visual details that matter, and tell ngram what the video needs to explain. [Add your sources](https://www.ngram.com/app) [All docs](https://www.ngram.com/docs) ## Read before this Read these direct prerequisites in order. Each guide lists any earlier context it assumes. 1. [1 Sources and attachments Ground videos in URLs, documents, images, audio, and recordings.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/sources-and-attachments) Use this guide when the explanation depends on a source page, a chart, a diagram or a detailed document. Give ngram the material and the questions it should answer as part of the video brief. ## Before you start Use material you have permission to share. Identify the facts, pages and visuals the audience needs, and prepare readable copies of anything that is difficult to access through a link. ## Give the research a clear purpose 1. Open Home and choose Prompt to video. 2. Add the source URL in Video brief or attach the document and images with Add files. 3. Name the questions the video should answer and the source details it must use. For example: “Explain the three stages in the diagram on page 4. Keep its labels and use the attached notes for the narration.” 4. Review the creative settings and choose Create video. 5. Read the plan against the supplied sources. Correct unsupported claims, missing steps or misread labels before choosing Approve plan. 6. Review the finished video against the same references, especially diagrams, numbers and product details. ## When the source is visual Point out important charts, screenshots, diagrams and relationships instead of relying only on the document title. A focused screenshot or page reference helps identify the visual you want explained. ## What you should see The plan should use the facts and source details you identified. The finished video should explain them in a form the audience can follow, with enough time to read labels and understand the sequence. ## If a source cannot be read Provide a permitted readable copy, paste the relevant passage or attach the key screenshot. For a product walkthrough that requires sign-in, use browser handoff when ngram asks you to take control. Check factual claims against an authoritative source and request a correction when something is missing or wrong.
