Each guide lists any earlier context it assumes. 1. [1 Voice and avatar Select narration, language, presenter, and custom identity assets.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/voice-and-avatar) 2. [2 Account and preferences Manage profile details, job behavior, notifications, and deletion.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/account-and-preferences) ## Reuse a permitted voice for new narration An instructor needs fresh narration for several revised lessons and has authorized use of their voice. Add a suitable sample in voice settings, then select the resulting voice in a supported workflow and listen to the generated line. If you already have a finished soundtrack and want it to play underneath narration, use the music controls. Training a voice does not add that track to the video. Open Account & Settings, then Voice. 2. Choose Create Your First Voice or the add-voice action. 3. Record a clean sample or upload supported audio or video when offered. 4. Confirm that you have permission to create and use the voice. 5. Name and preview the model before using it in a video. ## Record a useful sample - Use one speaker in a quiet room. - Avoid music, echo, clipping, and long silent gaps. - Speak naturally with the pace and tone you want the model to learn. - Do not upload another person's voice without explicit authorization. ## Manage the model Select the custom voice from the normal Voice picker when the workflow supports it. Preview it with representative narration, and remove obsolete models from Voice Settings so the right option is easy to find. ## Before you finish Before leaving, confirm ownership, naming, team context, and any plan or role limitation. Preserve a separate copy before broad revisions and transfer ownership before an owner leaves or deletes a shared workspace. ## Keep going [Choose a voice and avatar Select narration, language, presenter, and custom identity options for a video.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/voice-and-avatar) [Create and manage a custom face Create, use, and remove custom presenter faces with current plan limits.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/custom-faces) [Understand plans and pricing Review current Free, Basic, Premium, Ultimate, and Enterprise plan behavior.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/plans-and-pricing) ## Continue in ngram Open the relevant Studio surface and follow the current controls shown in your account.
