[1 Create your first video Go from prompt and sources to a reviewable first video.](https://www.ngram.com/docs/creating-your-first-video) You can describe the video you want in the same ngram composer. Start with the viewer’s task, choose an appropriate style when useful, and check that the plan uses your sources in the right way. ## Before you start Prepare the audience, main message and closing action. Add approved product facts, screenshots, diagrams or recordings when the video depends on them. Check the available creative settings and estimate before starting. ## Match the treatment to the message - Motion-graphics explainer: explain a process with labels, diagrams, designed scenes and narration. - Presenter video: use a visible speaker for a lesson, introduction or social explanation. Choose the available Presenter and Voice settings. - Conversation: give speakers different roles and an approved question and answer. Use Conversation style when it fits. - Product walkthrough: show actual screens from your recording or ask ngram to browse the product. Complete a browser handoff when a step needs you. - Footage with explanation: ask for a label over a clip or a diagram between clips, and say which original speech to keep. - Technical explainer: use source-backed labels, cutaways and moving parts to explain a mechanism; Machine anatomy is one style to start from. ## Create a video in the chosen direction 1. Open Home and choose Prompt to video. 2. Write the audience, message and treatment in Video brief. For example: “Make a product walkthrough using this recording. Keep its spoken explanation and add labels at the three setup steps.” 3. Add the sources and review Model, Voice, Presenter, Length and Format. Choose a style when you have a visual direction. 4. Choose Create video and review the plan. Request changes if the proposed visuals or script do not match the job. 5. Choose Approve plan, then review the finished preview before sharing. ## What you should see The plan and preview should make the intended subject clear: actual screens for a walkthrough, a readable diagram for a process, or distinct roles for a conversation. You can combine these treatments in one video when the explanation benefits from it. ## If the result uses the wrong treatment Name the mismatch and the source that should guide it. Ask for the smallest useful revision, such as replacing an invented screen with the supplied screenshot or keeping the original speaker’s audio. Review the next result before requesting another change.
